I think the first time Niki wasn't feeling well I may have actually liked it because you know how when babies get sick they get really clingy? Niki wasn't a clingy baby so I loved being able to hold her and feel like she really needed me to take care of her. But when she is sooooo clingy it makes me nervous - like something serious is wrong. It is so out of character for her that when she sits with me for more than 10 seconds I know she is sick. Last night she had a 103 fever and wouldn't keep anything down, throwing up even Otterpops. We were worried she might dehydrate after a while. She couldn't hold down her Tylenol to cut the fever. We finally got some suppositories for the fever and throwing up. She quickly fell asleep in my arms. I feel like such a helpless mommy when my baby is sick. This morning she woke up with the 103 temp again but was actually hungry. After another suppository she ate and went back to sleep with a lower temp. I hope this doesn't last too much longer.
I have a sick baby and it makes me sad.

That is so sad! Knock on wood that the worst thing that Caylin has had so far is a cold. I feel really lucky, but I feel so sad for you because I totally believe it is harder on the mom than the baby to be sick! I hope it doesn't last long.
that is really scary! earlier this week scotty was really warm and i could tell he was running a fever but never took his temp. i kept giving him tylenol and cool baths for 3 days until he finally came back to normal temp...but it was weird he didn't show any other signs of sickness, just a fever.
im so happy that niki is feeling alot better!!! healthy babies make me happy!!!
